Founded in 2020, Mind Out Loud is a student-led mental health movement sponsored by Wellness Together School Mental Health, the San Diego County Office of Education, and the California Department of Education. Mind Out Loud is led by our Student Reps, a group of high school students who work towards raising mental health awareness, ending stigma, educating peers about suicide prevention, and advocating for the mental health and wellness of students. Hear from our 2021 Mind Out Loud Student Reps about their perspective on student mental health, the major barriers to mental wellness faced by their generation, and what they would like educators and supporting adults to know.
