Understanding the extremes of under-addressed mental health issues as seen by frontline pediatricians is an important step in improving student mental wellness. A student's pediatrician can be an incredible source for mental health support, from providing mental health screenings to prescribing psychiatric medication and following up mental health issues. By the end of this presentation, participants will acquire practical skills to effectively connect with pediatricians in order to uplift student wellness.
