Preliminary findings from a doctoral dissertation research study conducted at faith-based universities during the COVID-19 pandemic used grounded theory to generate a leadership stress resilience model that explains (a) why and how undergraduate leaders experience stress, (b) the effect of stress, and (c) how student leaders cope with stress, (b) the role faith plays. The resulting model can help developing student leaders map and forecast their stress.
