Discover how peer-focused, youth-led initiatives can support middle-high school student mental health. Highlighting their #goodforMEdia campaign, youth will discuss social media impacts and strategies to minimize harm. They will also share preliminary outcomes of surveys illuminating how culture/race/ethnicity impact mental health help-seeking. Participants will learn how youth-driven projects can be incorporated into mental health or media literacy curricula and media’s role on youth mental health at the intersection of culture/race/ethnicity.
