This will be an interactive session with Murphy Lynne, Author of "Am I Invisible - Things I Wish Teachers Knew" and her mother/educator Shelley Jonas. You don't have to be familiar with the book to leave with a new perspective in how to identify students who are struggling in your classrooms from mental illness issues, spectrum issues and much more. Participants will leave with a birds eye view of how these students function and feel in their schools and classrooms Kdg - High School. But most of all, educators will leave with an understanding of small changes they can make immediately to show big impact such as specifics of how to build relationships with those hard to reach students, how to adjust to these student needs within your classroom walls and throughout the day in your school, and how to communicate with the students themselves and their parents. This session is real and raw and participants will leave re-energized in their efforts to make sure no student is INVISIBLE!
