Amy Blackshaw
California School-Based Health Alliance Behavioral Health Project Director
Amy Blackshaw serves as the Behavioral Health Project Director at the California School-Based Health Alliance. Amy's professional work has centered on adolescent health and wellness as a social worker and youth advocate as well as an administrator, program manager, and leader. Prior to joining CSHA, she spent the last ten years leading comprehensive school-based and school-linked health centers in Alameda County, where she managed the delivery of primary care, sexual and reproductive health services, behavioral health, health education and youth development. Her work has also centered on supportive programs for pregnant and parenting adolescents and women and youth impacted by HIV. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from San Francisco State University and her BA in Latin American Studies from the University of California Santa Cruz. She is deeply committed to elevating school-based health across the state and ensuring equitable access to care for all students.
