Melissa Ambrose, LCSW, PPS, is the Wellness Coordinator for Jefferson Union High School District in Daly City where she heads a team of amazing mental health education professionals. She is a white, cisgender, Jewish lesbian who is committed to dismantling white supremacy conditioning within herself and the systems in which she works. She knows she has a long way to go in this capacity. Melissa is passionate about the practice of mindfulness and its beneficial mental and emotional impacts. She has completed teacher training with Mindful Schools, Cultivating Emotional Balance and the Community Resilience Model.
